ELECTION OF PROVINCIAL AND DEFINITORY

The Capuchin Friars gathered together at Plumpton Friary in Sydney for their
three yearly chapter from 29th November until 3rd December. Br John Cooper
was re-elected Provincial Minister for a second three year term.
The new Vicar Provincial is Br Greg Rowles who is presently parish priest
of Guardian Angels Church in Wynnum Brisbane. The Second Definitor is Br Denis
Ward who is presently at St. Anthony's Friary in Hawthorn Melbourne. The Third
Definitor is Br Paul Hanbridge who is presently at the Hermitage in Murrurundi.
The fourth Definitor is Br Robert Stewart who is presently Postulant Director
at Wynnum North Brisbane.
We wish Br John and his new Definitory God's blessings as they lead the friars
into the next millenium.
The new Definitory are at present meeting to discuss new placements for the
friars. These will be posted to the web site as they become available.
