Shane Higoe, Nathan McKay, Lam Vu

On Wednesday, 2nd February 2000 three young men, Shane Higoe, Nathan McKay and Lam Vu were officially received into the Novitiate by their Novice Master, Paul Winter OFM Cap.

They had successfully completed their Postulancy in Wynnum North, Brisbane in 1999 and now begin a full twelve months of Novitiate in Assumption Friary, Plumpton Sydney.

The Novitiate year consists of a more intense introduction to Capuchin Franciscan Spirituality, as well as study of our Rule of Life and the three vows of religious life: Poverty, Chastity and Obedience in preparation for making their first vows at the end of the Novitiate period.

The new novices are helped into their habits

Please keep them in your prayers as they continue their journey of discernment of a Capuchin Franciscan life.
