The subject of the devil is one very rarely dealt with in modern-day catechetic. The secularized mentality of
our times has relegated the figure of the devil to mythology or folklore. When questioned about the
existence of the devil, Padre Pio replied: “How can one doubt his existence when I see him around me all the
time?”
